Rev. Dr. B. JOHN BOSCO SJ, M.Com., M.Phil., Ph.D, is a Jesuit Priest, who has twenty-four years of teaching experience in Commerce. He worked in Jesuit Colleges, like Loyola College (Autonomous), Chennai, St. Joseph's College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli and St. Xavier's College, Palayamkottai. He obtained Bachelor of Commerce at St. Joseph's College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, Master of Commerce and Master of Philosophy at Loyola College, Chennai, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from St. Joseph's College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli. He has handled courses like Fundamentals of Business Organisations, Banking, Auditing, Advance Accounts, Cost accounting, Personnel Management, Advertising and Sales Promotion, International Marketing, Retail Marketing, Income Tax, Business Ethics, Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Marketing Management, Rural Marketing, Service Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Entrepreneurial Development, Research Methodology, Total Quality Management, Organisational Change and Development. He has organised many Seminars and Conferences and presented papers and published articles in reputed International and National Journals.
Prior to joining St. Xavier’s Institute of Business Administration (XIBA), Palayamkottai as an Administrator he rendered his active service as Principal of Loyola College, Mettala, Namakkal, and St. Alphonsa College of Arts and Science, Karungal, Nagercoil. He has organized various training programmes to staff and students on Leadership, Personality Development, Management programme etc. After taking up the position of the Secretary of St. Joseph’s College in the year 2013, he has been instrumental in bringing drastic changes to the whole infrastructure of the campus. The lush green campus stands as testimony to the commendable planning and execution of the able administrative team headed by Rev. Fr. John Bosco.
